Hello, 

A crafter, Crochet, Knitting Lover and  I'm the creator of Drawnstitch (http://drawnstitch.com). 

I'm Gudiya Rautela Kanhai, I have done my Fashion Designing at Delhi Institute Of Fashion Technology, Delhi India (2007 to 2008) and also have Pursued my bachelor's in Fine Arts (B.F.A) (2007 to 2010) from Delhi University Delhi India. 

When I finished my Fashion Designing Diploma I got selected for an internship in a Nikki Garment export house Noida Up India. Basically my real journey Strat from here, I started to know the reality about the fashion industry, how the export houses work, etc. 

after 2 months of training, one of my friend asks me about would you like to work in my company because  I m leaving this company. (Textile Industry )

I said yes off course wy not because this is just opposite my home like 5 to 10 mint walk so I went for an interview n got selected to start my journey as a Textile Designer to as a Senior Designer ( Vivsun Export Pvt Ltd ). I worked over here for more than 7 years (2008 to 2015 ) then got married n shifted to another place changing my Job As Senior Fashion & Textile Designer (2015 to 2017) another company  (Fashion & Textile Industry ) Noida up India.  

Then 2017 my husband moved to Ireland so I moved with him. again I started my career all over again over here as I was not able to find a job as a fashion n textile designer so need to switch my career to Digital Media Designer. I start working in Print, web & Multimedia Design. along with started college to upskill me. 

well well, life is not about what we planed up it's all about what God already fixed for us ...

4 Jan 2020 with God's grace I become a mother now need to take care of my little one.  but I wanted to do something which I loved to do designing, crafting, etc but don't know where and what to start with a small baby?

as you all know in Ireland wether is too cold so thought let's crochet or knit something for baby as I learned crochet n knitting in my childhood (when was 5 years old) and I used to knit for my brothers and for my mom in my schooling time. I remember I love to knit new patterns, new designs, etc.  

So here I knit hats or socks for my newborn princes. after I released this craft is my heritage or God's gift to me why not start with this something ?????  

With Lots of Questions, confusion, don't know where what to do  ????? ...

In the end, I thought let's start youtube channle n Blogs so let's see now where i will go...

All of the patterns you will find here are absolutely free, and I’ve tried to make them as simple as possible by including written patterns, charts,s and video tutorials because I want each and every one of you to be able to use them, regardless of your crochet experience!

For those of you who are  New or Beginners to the wonderfully creative world of crochet, I hope that my free patterns and tutorials will give you the confidence to have a go at making some of the creative items.

When I’m not crocheting, I like to do gardening and cooking, and to relax  (apart from crocheting, of course!) Watching Indian daily soap \ serials and south Indian movies:) 

 I sincerely hope my patterns & tutorial will help motivate others to discover their creativity and the fun in crocheting beautiful items Whether you’re crocheting for yourself or a loved one, I hope that you find something in this blog that you’re inspired to have a go at.
