Stockinette Stitch Knitting Pattern

Stockinette Stitch Knitting Pattern For beginner's

Hey Everyone,

Welcome to draw n stitch blogs. Today I’ve got The Stockinette Stitch for beginners.

This Knit series will show you everything you need to get started with knitting...

The Stockinette Stitch is a very easy knitting pattern that creates a very simple and smooth texture. You simply alternate two types of knitting techniques.

This is Two Row Repeat Design: The smooth texture is created by repeating these two easy-to-remember rows.

How to Start? :  Cast On any number of stitches onto your knitting needle.

1st Row:  Purl Stitch  ( P ) Wrong Side  Purl stitch all the way across.

the very first row is the wrong side of your work.  we will knit this row with all purl stitches.

2nd Row: The Knit stitch. ( K ) Right Side - Knit All all the way across.

The 2nd row is the right side of your work, which is the side that will be visible once it is knitted up.  we will knit this row with all Knit stitches across.

3rd Row: Repeat 1st row

4th Row: Repeat 2nd row.

Now Just Keep Repeating alternate rowsKnit all rows until your work is the length you desire,

once you are done with your desired length then  Bind off your stitches and close ends.
