You Need to Know Before Start Knitting
Always knit a small square swatch to check your tension.
stitches are knitted onto the right needle, slipping off the left needle. When you finish a row, the left needle will be empty and the right needle full. Switch the right needle to become the left needle and start knitting new stitches onto the empty right needle.
Knitting Skills and Tools
These are the stitches and methods that you will use in every knitting projects. In the case of the knit (K) and purl stitches (P), These are the basics you will need to start,
Before start first Just pick up a pair of needles (U.S. size 6 to 8 is perfect for beginners), & yarn. You can use whatever you have laying around the house to practice though.
How to Cast on ( CO)?
1. Lets Strat - Make a slip knot and than place it on a one needle than pull the yarn to tighten it on the needle making the first stitch. Hold this needle in your left hand. Put the right needle into the stitch and loop the yarn under and around it.
2. Now with the right needle, pull the loop of yarn through the stitch and slip the loop onto the left needle to making second stitch.
3. Now put the right needle between the two stitches you've just made. Loop the yarn under and around the right needle as before.
4. Now with the right needle, pull the loop of yarn through the stitch and slip the loop onto the left needle to making the third stitch. Now Continue until you have the disired number of stitches.

How to Knit Stitches ( K )?
The knit stitch is also known as garter stitch:-
Knitting in garter stitch or knit stitch, so after Casting on the first step is to start your first knit.
1. Insert your right hand needle through the first stitch from front to back after,
2. Wrap the yarn around the right needle than,
3. Bring the Needle to the front - Slide the right needle under the left needle, catching the wrapped yarn and bringing the needle to the front. (Pull the loop of yarn through the stitch ) to make a new stitch on the right needle, sliding the old stitch off the left needle.
Continue Working All Knit Stitches Knit every stitch across the row, then turn your work and knit every stitch across that row. Repeat this process to work in knit \ garter stitches.

How to Work Purl Stitches ( P )?
1. With the yarn at the front of the work, insert the right needle into the stitch on the left needle, bringing the point out in front of the left needle.
2. Now pass the yarn over and around the right needle thn,
3. Pull the loop of yarn through the stitch to make a new stitch on the right needle slipping the old stitch off the left needle.
Continue Working All Purl Stitches knit every stitch across the row, then turn your work and Repeat this process to work in Purl stitches.

It's a good idea to start with something small and flat that doesn't require shaping.
Try a simple square or maybe scarf cast on enough stitches for your desired scarf width. Knit until the scarf is long enough.
Knit the scarf entirely in garter stitch, or try knit and purl stitches on alternate rows, for stocking stitch. You can also try or play around 'knit 1 row, purl 1 row ' for a ribbed effect, or 'knit 2, purl 2' knit 4 purls 2, etc.
What are Abbreviations?
Abbreviations are used to make patterns shorter to read.
- CO means " cast on " and is the foundation for your project. This is the number of stitches.
- K means to " Knit " the most basic stitch. Patterns for beginners may be all knit, also known as garter stitch.
- P means " Purl '' the second-most-common stitch and essentially the opposite of knitting. Many basic patterns employ alternating rows of knitting and purling, also known as the stockinette stitch.
- RS is the "right side," meaning the front of the project. When a pattern is reversible,
- WS, then, means "wrong side," or the back of a project.
- BO can be used to indicate " binding off " which is how you finish the project so you can take it off the needles.
