How To Crochet This very simple blanket Design

Easy step by step tutorial with my Written pattern and chart..

Hey Everyone , 

Welcome to drawnstitch blogs . Today I’ve got this crochet design for Blanket  projects. one of my favorite easy and very quick project .

The Design is a beautifully braid-like stitch which gives very simple and plain  texture . This stitch is great for whole projects and also incorporated into Blanket, rungs, cushion etc

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Hook: 3.0 mm My hook set from amazon - https://amzn.to/3usSRKQ  

 You can use whatever you have laying around the house to practice though.

Stitches & Code (US Term)

 

• ch          = chain
• st           = stitch(es)
• sk          = skip
• DC        = Double Crochet 
• Turn      =  Turn your work .

.Start with slip knot , = Chains  ( Note:-This is just a swatch so you can make chain as desired length..)

1st Row - Add 3 ch , next 2 ch make  DC  , skip 2 ch, (next  ch  7 times  DC ) , 2 ch ,  skip 4 ch,  next 3 ch                         make  DC ,..repeat

2nd Row - Add 3 ch , next 2 stitch DC ,   7 times  DC  , 2 ch ,   next 3 stitch make  DC ,  7 times  DC  , 2 ch                           ,.... repeat..

3rd Row - Add 3 ch , next 2 stitch DC ,   7 times  DC  , 2 ch ,   next 3 stitch make  DC ,  7 times  DC  , 2 ch ,....             repeat.

Now keep repeating 1st and 2nd ..( Note:- This is just 2 line repeat design)
